One side is 100% New Zealand Merino wool, the other side is 100% cotton. On the wool side, the top layer consists of a layer of Merino wool with a density of 450 g/m2.

Use and cleaning

We recommend using Merino wool bedding in a set, taking advantage of the beneficial properties of the enveloping effect that is created. After unpacking, the wool should be shaken thoroughly so that the so-called floating fibers formed during processing are removed from the product. When using the bedding, the blanket does not need to be pulled into a cover, only if your comfort requires it. To preserve its quality, we recommend frequently airing the wool, in damp, wet, humid weather, this will saturate and refresh the wool. Do not expose it to the sun, because the wool fibers will become fragmented and dry.


Wool detergent or shampoo containing lanolin is available and can be washed by hand with cold water.
Natural wool has the property of being antistatic, i.e. self-cleaning, so we recommend that you only do this if it is really necessary. It can also be refreshed by ventilation in the manner mentioned above.
